Letter to the Station Superintendent Complaining against the damaged Goods which are sent on railway risk.
The Station Superintendent,
Pakistan Railways,
City A. B. C.
Dear Sir,
We dispatched ten bundles of books and stationery articles to Messers Golden Publications, Rawalpindi vide R.R. No. 2185 dated 20th December 1993. The firm has complained that the bundles were in a very bad condition damaging the books and other material. The recipients have lodged a complaint with the railway authorities at Rawalpindi. It is to be pointed out that the goods were dispatched on Railway’s risk.
It is, therefore, requested that a representative of the railway be deputed to fix the extent of the loss, and order for the compensation for the same may be issued at the earliest.
Yours faithfully,
x. y. Z.
